Good afternoon, Elemiah.  What a pleasure it is to talk with you get know more about the artist behind your work.
Good afternoon Michael,  thank you very much for your interest. It's a pleasure for me too!

Can you tell us a little about yourself, perhaps how long you've been in Second Life and about your early days  in SL?

One day, a friend asked me if I know SL ... I had never heard of this world, but I'm very curious, so I joined the community in February 2007.  My first three days on SL were a nightmare ... my avatar was totally naked and I drove cars, can you imagine ? :)

Elemiah Design, is your line of clothes and accessories, where you are the creator, designer and owner, yes?  Do you have a store inworld? 

I love to create, I love to draw, I love fashion and I hate inactivity! :) This is why, in April 2007, I created Elemiah Design and opened a store, with encouragements from my friends. In the beginning, there were only 2 models in the store, by chance, immediately popular.

There's a few of your designs that really captured my eye.  What can you tell us about the beautiful gown named "Casino"?

Very good choice Michael, I'm happy you like this dress!  :) "Casino" is simplicity, and for me simplicity is elegance. I love to wear it without jewelry, just with a smile and good friends around me.

"Yes Yes" is an elegant design that I could easily see in the likes of Frank's Elite Jazz Club.  What was the inspiration behind this design, Elemiah?

When I start a creation, I have no plan. It's like when you draw ... the inspiration, the ideas come progressively.  Really, this is very fun to let my imagination run, and the lace is one of my favorite works.

One hot little number really stood out, that is "Hawaii".  Fun. sexy, and flirty lingerie.  Smiles.

Smiles... Ah okay, you also visited the lingerie area :p !  What I can say... ? "Hawaii" is a little panties, colored, with bow on each side. Why not wear it as a monokini on the beach ?

Speaking of flirty, "Flirt" is a very playful design.

"Sweet Dreams", now that is a sexy sheer design.  What can you tell about this outfit?

I imagine a woman, wearing "Sweet Dreams", cooking in her kitchen, barefoot... and waiting her lover for dinner... sigh... Good movie ? Of course, don't wear "Sweet Dreams" for sleep!

So, "Flirt" and "Sweet Dreams" reminds me ... tell me about "Become my SL partner for one week"?

Big smiles ... Oh it was just a joke !  I'm a little crazy sometimes you know, I like to laugh!  ;)

I finally don't start this "game", because men fight too much and I don't like blood.  Hum ... by the way I noticed you are not candidate!  Well, I have a scoop for you ... if one day I have a partner he will be a true love and I would never divorce (Elemiah put her finger on the romantic music button) :D 

What suggestions would you have for someone with a desire to design clothing inworld?

I have no suggestion.  Other than do what you love to do with your heart, imagination, sincerity and have fun!

While touring your main inworld store, I noticed that you have a Gacha machine.  Do you enjoy playing, as well?

Gacha ... oh yes, I'm a player!  Not always a lucky player, but after hard work, this is good to play, and I love surprises so much!

On Marketplace

You also have various accessories for the ladies, as well.  Such as cuff (on Marketplace), lipstick, and shoes.  Can you tell us some about your accessories?

Well, accessories are essential for fashionable girls, and particularly makeup and shoes.

Actually in my store, you can find a choice of lipstick:  each pack included 3 colors for only 50 L. Very funny to match with dresses!  "Paris" is the name of the mesh shoes, if you love a French touch, this model is for you!  I have similar in RL to catch my bus!

Shapes by Elemiah

In your shop we can also find a female shape and a male shape.  Are these new creations, Elemiah?

One more time, creating a shape for me is like to draw with right proportions. These shapes are new and more are coming soon, for women and men.  :)

Elemiah Photography

Now you have more services to offer, yes?  Such as your photography services through Elemiah Photographer.  How long have you had your photography business in SL?

Photography is a passion since a long time. Each detail captures my eyes.  My Photography service is not new but newer than my store.  I usually work with orders of creators, some companies, and of course with other customers.  Let me give you this link to my photography.

Hopefully

Your photo, "Hopefully", looks dark, mysterious, yet with a degree of softness.

For this photo I played with contrasts, tried to add mystery, and tell a story.  Maybe my thoughts were a little dark that day.

Listen My Heart

You have a few nudes to your credit, as well.  Such as the sexy and inviting "Listen My Heart".

I was curious to try the mesh breasts and had to share this picture. I resized them because I'm not a huge boob fan.  Maybe it's more cartoon than sexy.  What do you think ?

With Passion

Another photograph that invites a smiles is "With Passion" ... (chuckles and waits for your reply) 

Well ... I admit, I have a passion for turquoise (I pinch you) :)

You have a couple of Album Books for sale, as well, yes?

I had a lot of fun to realize these 2 Albums, "Elemiah Secret" and "Sensual", this idea was new and I was excited to share it. I received encouragements, so, I'll prepare a new Book for very soon :)

I'm very happy to know you are a reader!  I try to share quality items in quality pics.  Thank you to all creators, readers who follow me.

Do you have a favorite theme or aspect of blogging that you enjoy most?

I don't have a favorite theme.  I only blog items that inspire me.  I try to photograph them to the best of my abilities.
